Hi!

I'm a strange animal with a couple of mother tongues, living in a country where neither is officially spoken (but actually both are to some extend) and writing a dissertation in a fourth language (which is English!:D) about a literature that's been written in a fifth.

I dream of being a writer. Who doesn't? But, well, I really have to at least seriously try to write a book before I die. Not that I plan to die very soon, but the least people do...

Even though I use English a lot, it is not my mother tongue and I'm not sure that I am fluent enough in it to write fiction. So, I've set up this place to test myself. And to practice. And to learn. The finding new friends and interacting with all kinds of fascinating new people is a free bonus that I enjoy a lot.

I'd be ever so grateful to anyone for real feedback.
