Turns out, the autumn I smelled actually was a cold coming on. I'm having a slight fever for the second day now (I'm pretty sure it's just that) and I don't really smell weather anymore. Outside temperatures - as well as inside for that matter - interest me precious little right now, I only feel my own. On the other hand, it has been a bit windy. And a bit cloudy. I'm not telling anyone here that it's me who's changing the weather - what if they believe me and then come winter and we'll have another storm with dozens of fallen trees, towns with no electricity and cars drowned in the dessert... how will I explain that?

I'm sorry, but I had to laugh a little bit. I hope you feel better soon.

The important question to distinguish from COVID is can you smell/taste? Anosmia is definitely a COVID symptom, if you can still smell and taste, it's probably not COVID. If you cannot, get tested and contact a doctor!
